Who is responsible

Taca Taca is made by MyComuApp, in Valparaíso, Chile. For any question about this policy, write to contacto@mycomuapp.com.

What is kept on your device

All of this lives only on the phone, tablet or computer you play on:

• Your profile: the nickname you typed and the avatar you put together.
• Your progress: matches, goals, cups, level, score, challenge streak and achievements.
• Your custom teams and the game settings (language, sound, vibration, animations).
• The last five program errors, in case something breaks. They show up under “About”, they are never sent anywhere, and they only leave your device if you copy them to write to us.

There are no Taca Taca accounts, no passwords and no e-mail addresses: the game never asks for personal data.

What can leave your device

Google Play Games (Android)

If you sign in to Google Play Games, the game works with your account and shares with Google:

• Your player ID and player name, to recognise you and link your profile.
• Your score, for the world leaderboard.
• The achievements you unlock.
• A backup of your progress (profile, cups, streak and stats), kept on your own account through the saved games feature.

Google handles that data under its privacy policy. You can sign out or delete the game's data from the Play Games app itself, and the game will carry on working with whatever is on your device.

The ranking on this site

This site publishes the world table on World ranking. The data comes from Google Play Games — the same table you see inside the game — and is copied here several times a day.

For each player on the table, this is published:

• The player name you have on Play Games.
• Your score and your position.
• Your Play Games rank and level, if you have them.
• When you set that score.

If your Play Games profile is set to not public, your name is not published here: you appear as «Anonymous player». That preference is honoured exactly as Google sends it, and you can change it whenever you like from the Play Games app.

Your profile picture and your player id are not published, and this site keeps nothing else about you. If you want off the table, delete the game data from Play Games: once you are gone from Google's table you are gone from here on the next update. If you would rather write, contacto@mycomuapp.com.

Playing on the same Wi-Fi

In local network multiplayer your device announces the room name on the network and both sides exchange the moves directly between them. Nothing goes through a server of ours or anyone else's, and none of it is stored outside the devices that are playing.

Sharing a replay

When you share a goal clip, the file is handed to whichever app you pick at that moment (messaging, social, mail). From there, that app's policy applies.

Rating the game

The prompt to rate the game is shown by your platform's store. The rating goes to the store, not to us.

What we do not do

• We show no advertising and include no ad SDK.
• We use no analytics, no usage measurement and no tracking identifiers.
• We sell or share data with no one, because we do not have any.
• We do not touch your contacts, location, photos, microphone or camera.

Permissions and what they are for

• Internet and network state: connecting to Google Play Games.
• Wi-Fi and local network: finding and playing with someone on your network.
• Notifications: reminding you about the daily challenges. The notice is scheduled on your device; we do not use notifications sent from a server.
• Device boot: scheduling that reminder again after a restart.
• Vibration: the kick you feel when you hit the ball.

They are all optional: turn them down and the game works without that part.

Children

The game asks for no personal data, has no chat and lets nobody post content, so it collects no information from children. If a child plays with a Google Play Games account, that account is managed through Google's family controls.

How to delete your data

• On the device: clear the app's data from the system settings, or uninstall it. Everything goes, with nothing left behind.
• On your Google account: open the Play Games app, go to the Taca Taca profile and delete the game's data. That removes your score, your achievements and the backup.

About this website

This site uses no cookies and no analytics. It only keeps the language you chose in your browser's local storage, so it does not have to ask again. The fonts and the Bootstrap stylesheet are loaded from Google Fonts and jsDelivr: in requesting those files your browser shows them your IP address, as it would on any other site using those services.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top is updated and the new version is published at this same address.
